https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=724397 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=724397#c0 Summary: Deja-Dup won't run, requires duplicity >=0.6.14 but only 0.6.13 is available Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Beta 1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jdmulloy@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/535.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/14.0.835.202 Safari/535.1 I installed Deja-Dup in OpenSuse 12.1 Beta 1 from YaST and it correctly pulled in duplicity as a dependency but the version of duplicity available in the default repos is one revision too old. There are two issues here. 1. The deja-dup rpm should have a minimum version for duplicity 2. In order for deja-dup to be useable duplicity 0.6.14 or greater must be available in the default repos.
