The partitioner detail added /dev/sda5 to fstab for swap without my help, but the partitioning summary omitted it. On initial installation settings screen, it reported only 9% freespace on the 6,400 MiB / target sda33. This warning wasn't present on its last appearance before clicking on "Install", where sizes to download and to install were a mere 419M and 1.5G. Before clicking it I checked sizes to find 1472324 used, 839096 free, 1579476 available; swap total 2582744, used 0. Again when reboot occurred I wasn't looking, but it boots, and network works. Each fstab entry is duplicated, except for swap. The 9% freespace warning caused me to backup into partitioning to respecify selections that were apparently not remembered from the first partitioning pass. I don't think I've ever seen a bootable fresh installation with an empty /var/log/YaST2 before. My mistake looks like copying /root/ from the 15.4 installation to the target without remembering to remove /root/inst-sys/. I often do this so that my .profile and .bashrc are as I like on first root login. Or, maybe this didn't matter, and saving of content to /var/log/YaST2 step was never reached before reboot? There was no bootloader step to take at the end with bootloader not managed and none of Grub or os-prober installed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
