After switching TTY, everything becomes fast again. I'm currently using gnome with compiz, but same thing happens with KDE (with KDE is even worse). Resetting pixmap cache with: nvidia-settings -a PixmapCache=0 && nvidia-settings -a PixmapCache=1 doesn't help.
