Inside Yast2 and for Lilo or Grub, this is not shown with Windows. to comment 3: To my understanding every disk has a MBR. I just got very scared about overwriting that Windows MBR for some bad experiences with SuSE Linux and that's why I prefer to have that on another disk. Years ago I even used a floppy for that and that was fine for me. Yes and again I was proofen right with being scared about this. Your attachment doesn't show where the MBR is stored. Even if you were right about that MBR refers to the first disk only, it wouldn't hurt to make that clear in Yast. Btw. you can check all those choices and where is all the boot code stored then? In every checked location? For your info. I can select the boot disk in the BIOS, I just have to press F8 and select the disk. I find that very useful. You are right, if booting via the first MBA would always work flawlessly, it wouldn't make a difference, but it doesn't. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
