https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=474196 Summary: KDE4.2 / Qt 4.5: keyboard stops working in KDE Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: unspecified Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: bugzilla@go4more.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/4.2; Linux; de, en-US, en) KHTML/4.2.0 (like Gecko) SUSE Bug reports concerns the "Factory"-repos, also for KDE4.2: /repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSUSE_Factory /repositories/KDE:/Qt45/openSUSE_Factory/ I recently changed the Qt-version from 4.4 to 4.5RC, as on the KDE mailing list this switch was announced for KDE4.2 in factory. I don't know if the problem is related, as I did a complete update then. However, now my USB keyboard does no longer work, as soon as KDE is started. It works during the boot process, however, and it works - even in KDE - if starting in runlevel 3 and doing a "init 5" only after the system has booted.
