[Bug 220839] GNU parted doesn't have dual GPT/DOS partition table support

The detection of /dev/sda3 as partition type "EFI boot" was certainly incorrect and is fixed now. If this is not the reason for your breakage (as I suspected) we need to find out, what was and try to avoid that.
