http://static.opensuse.org/themes/bento/ I just checked the theme and miss openSUSE green. Are we serious to drop green? I think out green is one of the strongest brand recognition and authenticity we have. If design experts think the current green is too dominant we may de-emphasize green but loosing green in total I doubt is a good idea.

I guess we'll introduce green into pages by content, not by the theme itself. (For example, green images in the wiki and so on.) I kind of like the current novell.com page, which has more or less grayscale design, but there is a huge green banner on the top. Robert: I have one question/suggestion about the Styleguide[1] How about switching Content links to green (and if we want separation also switch non-content links to blue, but they can both stay green as well). BuildService, Wiki and Connect looks better this way and it will make pages "greenier". This is very subjective matter and there might be a good reason why you've chosen blue over green, so don't take this as an objection. Exactly, Pavol understood idea! The feedback from the community is pretty good till now. How ever, as the theme is on static now, we can ask on some other mailing-lists if the community like the idea. I think its a good way, because it makes the pages more usable. The theme is no longer catching attention, so a user can focus on the content, which should be green and SUSE like.

I had all links green. But it was pretty heavy on pages with many links (e.g. build.o.o tables, monitor etc.). The blue isn't so shiny. But we can give it a try :-) Finally I liked the green-link idea. I switch it on static.o.o. Best, Robert

This HowTo could be helpful when removing "webdesign" submodule from your git repositories: http://pitupepito.homelinux.org/?p=24 I already switched connect.o.o. If your application doesn't use jQuery, don't forget to include it before including global-navigation.js, otherwise it will not work. -- Best Regards / S pozdravom, Pavol RUSNAK SUSE LINUX, s.r.o openSUSE Boosters Team Lihovarska 1060/12 PGP 0xA6917144 19000 Praha 9, CR prusnak[at]suse.cz http://www.suse.cz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+help@opensuse.org
