What I did last week? - Caught up with mails and some administrative fun after GUADEC. - Standup meeting. - openSUSE-GNOME meeting: was well-attended and busy, so it's good the team is starting them again. Five or six people got action items, which is good: it's more than the usual two people :-) - Some Planet GNOME maintenance/discussion. - Answer questions about GNOME 3.0 for a LWN article. - Released GNOME 2.31.6 upstream: this was much more effort than I expected, mainly because we wanted this release to be GTK+ 2-only again, and, hrm, this took much more time than usual to make it happen. - Did toooooooooooooooons of work on G:F: first reviewed many submissions, completed the update to latest GNOME, fixed many issues, and get it near the "everything builds" state. It took a lot of time, but now updates to latest upstream should be simple again since they're smaller jumps. Before that, G:F was essentially the same as in 11.3, and now we have something for Factory again :-) What I will do this week? - Finish reviews of submissions to G:F and G:A, and push everything to Factory. Maybe test things too ;-) - Review proposals for talk to the openSUSE conference. - Catch up with latest strategy discussions on opensuse-project. - Really blog about GUADEC. Note: I'm leaving for vacation at the end of the week. I'll still be around during some part of the vacation for various tasks (at least the openSUSE conference), but if you need something from me, please ping me to be sure I'm aware of the need.
