Moin, I just checked in retro the sprint for Junior Jobs and like to know what the current status is. The Junior Jobs are imo very important to give a simple point of entry for anyone wanting to contribute. Imo Junior Jobs should cover: - bugs which are simple to solve - packages for which newer versions are available - packages/applications to be tested - features to work on - docu to be updated or newly written - maintenance And all of that of course should have some documentation so people can learn themselves how to do a task. For the docu part mostly the correct links are needed on the How to participate page [1] I'm poking you as we have the request of Novell India that they will have in a few months many IT students doing the NCLP and are requested by their universities to do some more work on Linux afterwards and openSUSE may take advantage out of this and offer them simple work to start with. And with some luck some of the student stay longer with us. If needed we may have an IRC meeting or as pretty many of you guys are in Nürnberg we meet face to face. I for one do not work on it at all. But feel free. Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+help@opensuse.org
