What I did: * reviewed KDE features for 11.4, looking good there * worked with upstream to get oxygen-gtk able for inclusion in 11.4 * debugging nepomuk/virtuoso hangs since nobody else is * fixed commented out patches in kde packages * worked with legal review to get some new packages includable * tested kdepim 4.6 which is obviously not ready for production use * talked to upstream to find a viable workaround * reverted to kdepim4-4.4.8 for 11.4 ** detected a lot of incompatibilities between kdepim 4.4 and kdepimlibs 4.6 and started to fix these What I plan to do * fix pim incompatibilities enabling a kdepim 4.4.9 suitable for use with 4.6 kdepimlibs * merry christmas! Awesome, that's a openSUSE thing that matters - integration. Any chance you'd blog about that? Just a quicky? ;-)
* debugging nepomuk/virtuoso hangs since nobody else is
*sigh* thanks dude...
* fixed commented out patches in kde packages * worked with legal review to get some new packages includable * tested kdepim 4.6 which is obviously not ready for production use * talked to upstream to find a viable workaround * reverted to kdepim4-4.4.8 for 11.4
*big sigh* really, is it that bad?
** detected a lot of incompatibilities between kdepim 4.4 and kdepimlibs 4.6 and started to fix these

Yes, the team won't have time to fix the regressions so they are going to sit out 4.6.0 .
