------------------------------------------------------------------------ Summary ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This sprint was running from March 2nd to March 16th. Its was a rather quiet sprint. The three milestones progressed nicely but nothing to spectacular. Also it was a rather dull week on the general side of things around our team. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Miscellaneous Topics Things that came up. Something everybody should be aware of. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 11.3 Release Parties. In mid of July we should make something happen in Prague and Nürnberg. Internal Stuff: IWM Training, Development plans. Yadda Yadda Yadda LinuxTag 2010 hack-sessions. We're still looking for topics around spontaneous 1-5 people hack sessions we can hold at Linuxtag. So far we have "Creating KDE Plasmoids" and "Packaging with KDE-OBS-Generator". We need more topics! The general idea is to take 5 folding chairs, your Laptop, (maybe a small projector) and up to five people to the hallway and teach them to do some contributor task. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Standup Every squad has to stand up and tell the others what they did do in the last sprint, what they are planing to do in the next sprint and what blocks them currently. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ * Developer Documentation Squad We did start to migrate content from the old wiki instance. We took Portal:Development as base and decided what should be on there and what should be not. In the end 3 big sub-topics emerged (Projects, Packaging, Distro creation) and we started to migrate things. We plan to continue to do this and while at it improve the transition plan and the wiki documentation. We are blocked by nothing. * Umbrella squad We did get a green light from EM for adapting iChain login dialogs to Bento. We merged /search subpage into the main page (deployed at http://software.opensuse.org/stage/) and investigated search engines where datapark is the winner so we started packaging it in the OBS. We also did some OBS webui 2.0 brainstorming and improvements to Bento's CSS and HTML. We plan to get the "create account", "modify details" pages from EM and theme them as well. And then make fuss about our XEN hosting solution. We are blocked by nothing. * openFATE squad We did setup our project in retrospectiva. Made a learning initiative about openFATE including code review and a couple of irc meetings to learn about FATE in general and openFATE in particular. So for instance what can be done in the webclient and what can be done in the keeper-proxy. We also worked on keeper-proxy to implement the missing part to be able to change the status of features. Its not yet deployed and needs some more testing. We plan to continue to test the keeper-proxy and add features to the openfate client. We also plan to start to work on notification. We are currently blocked by nothing. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+help@opensuse.org
