Hi, What I did two weeks ago: - went to India for GNOME 3 hackfest and GNOME.Asia - hackfest: + hacked on GNOME 3 fallback mode like crazy + reviewed various last-minute changes done for 3.0 + prepared GNOME 3 release day + worked with marketing people there to do some final checks + got interviewed by an indian magazine + prepared my talks + went to the Bangalore offices to meet the people; had some discussion on how to get them more involved in openSUSE & upstream - GNOME.Asia: + > 1000 registrations + > 600 people at the keynotes + delivered GNOME 3 keynote + delivered OBS & Studio talk + delivered GNOME Shell talk + talked to many many students + met Manu (who's helping us with Summer of Code) + we had an openSUSE booth, with lots of people going there. There was also a SUSE Studio contest, so people played with it on the booth. - India won the Cricket World Cup while we were there! - fell sick at the very end :/ What I did last week: - came back from India - worked on GNOME 3.0 release - also worked on the GNOME 3.0 release - released GNOME 3.0 - prepared a bit my presence at the GNOME 3.0 launch party in Lyon - look at Summer of Code stuff (thanks Pavol for doing nearly everything!) - crashed before the end of the week (still ill :/), but managed to gather some documents to put on GNOME PromoDVD and to catch up a bit with mails Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+help@opensuse.org
