[RED] - IChain still not available for connect. Escalated. [YELLOW] - discussed with Michael and Cornelius the FATE feature development. We can do that not earlier than february because of a Gallery-Release, February is difficult for us because of FOSDEM and 11.4 release in march. The base problem of the ongoing maintenance remains unsolved. [GREEN] - Tried to move the openSUSE Invis team forward - Worked on the openSUSE:Beer page in wiki - Worked on the Hermes page in the wiki - Spend reasonable time on fixing and improving Hermes digest messages, blogged about: http://lizards.opensuse.org/2010/12/01/hermes-work/ - Meeting: with Jos and all Boosters to talk about how to work together and get to know each other - Meeting with workers council about Bonus - some packaging investigation for the Invis Server - worked with Cornelius on the Trademark Guideline, he volunteered to work on the text changes, I contacted the artwork list for changed artwork. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+help@opensuse.org

I'm curious about this. Is this about something discussed on some mailing list (which I missed)? Or where can I read the background behind this? Yup. Background is mostly that SUSE Studio currently says: you can't use our trademark if you change things. Then goes ahead, let's users change things and applies the usual trademark packages. The idea is to loosen the trademark guideline a bit, saying: if you build a deriviate with eg Studio, use this and this artwork package (which will be almost the default except that it has a "build on openSUSE" in a few places). IOW minor change compared to what we have.
