No one currently, it's on the list of future milestones. The first steps we will probably take in a hackathon at FrosCON which is in August. BTW you can see what we are working on at http://retro.opensuse.org Pavol started this project as replacement for users.o.o. See http://wiki.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Connect on all the details. I'm sure he can tell you were you can help :) Henne -- Henne Vogelsang, openSUSE. Okay, I guess I could take part, then.

Okay, going to contact him as I heard rumours about plans to change the backend, so I could take part from the start. Best Regards Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+help@opensuse.org

Thanks Marcus for your interest! Yes, you heard right, we'll replace the current implementation with Elgg[1] engine. Meanwhile, you might want to install it on your local machine (it requires just a normal LAMP stack), give it a try, experiment with it a little bit. You can also try various plugins to see if there are some interesting ones that fit our concept. I enlisted some of them on Connect wikipage [3]. Git tree contains only old tog related stuff, correct. I have only installed Elgg on my local machine and nothing else has been done in this regard yet. We are swamped with other tasks, but I hope I can focus on Connect again soon. -- Best Regards / S pozdravom, Pavol RUSNAK SUSE LINUX, s.r.o openSUSE Boosters Team Lihovarska 1060/12 PGP 0xA6917144 19000 Praha 9, CR prusnak[at]suse.cz http://www.suse.cz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+help@opensuse.org

@gnokii: could you please let me decide on my own, what is important for me and what not. Okay, I am going to start off setting up my own elgg instance now, for testing purpose. Going to updated you accordingly. Best Regards Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+help@opensuse.org
