Hello Boosters, The release of openSUSE 11.4 is planned for 10th march and the weekend of the same week is one of the greatest events arround FLOSS in Germany. So the idea is make there a greater presentation of openSUSE there instead a Launch Party here. So how to make it. CLT offer 5 tracks with talks and an extra track for newbies, as Martin was there, there was always an talk about openSUSE in that track. This year was none. For 2011 I propose 2 talks for this track. There are also 2 tracks with workshops and I had always one slot there. But the organizers had always a special room for projects, they offer them to the projects for making there own program in it. The plan for 2011 is to get this room and make in it a big presentation of openSUSE in it. With workshops like *Using OBS for packaging ur stuff *use OBS for build debian/ubuntu packages *how to use kiwi *how to use SUSE Studio *using openFATE for feature requesting We have enough personal here to man the booth but for the workshops I need help. I spoke with Jos about it and he think we should create first a possible program for the room and then ask the organizers to get the room. He is also willing to sponsor the event to make the openSUSE participation more recognizable. So what u think, can me give the Boosters a boost there? Kickoff meeting for organizing the CLT was 2 weeks ago and the call for papers beginns in a few days.
