What I did last week: + catch up with everything after vacation + openFATE milestone: - meeting with AJ about openFATE - read Klaas' mail about tasks (was needed) + GNOME Team: - some GNOME 2.31.91 love (less than usual upstream, though), and quite some packaging work - send a status update about new packages in Factory: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-gnome/2010-08/msg00083.html as well as an updated list of proposed packages: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-gnome/2010-08/msg00085.html (a major goal of the GNOME team for 11.4 is to get many new apps) - Atri blogged about what we're doing: http://lizards.opensuse.org/2010/08/30/whats-cooking-in-opensuses-gnome-for-... - investigated some 11.3 issues + Desktop Summit: - lots of discussion about some preparation meeting in the next few weeks - for some reason, also got invited in the paper committee + JDLL: - that's a french event in Lyon (not far away from home) in October, the Friday/Saturday the week before the openSUSE conference - submitted a talk about the OBS and another about GNOME 3. Both got accepted. - mailed opensuse-fr to get a few volunteers to help with a small booth. One volunteer so far, so we might do something. + misc: - wrote a reminder cron job to remind people to submit packages the week before: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-packaging/2010-09/msg00011.html - had an internal meeting What I'll do this week: + fix bugs from Milestone1: there are at least two major GNOME issues that will make people run away + check if there's any major bug I need to fix urgently upstream for 2.32 + write some GNOME release team draft document that was due two weeks ago :/ + openFATE: restart coding there + release desktop-file-utils/cups-pk-helpers: there are a few changes in git just waiting for a release for a few months already Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+help@opensuse.org
