Hi all.
I wonder since when (and for what reason) the IRC channel has become private.
Our IRC channel has been merged into #opensuse-project

It's an unfortunate quirk of IRC (I don't know if its Freenode that does it or a general IRC thing.) If two channels are merged, and you are already logged into the "merged-into" channel, while at the same time, attempting to log into the former channel, Freenode says its private and won't let you log in. But, if you log out of -project (in this example), and then log into boosters, you'll see that you get automatically redirected to -project. Like I said, weird and funny IRC quirk. We had the same confusion when -marketing and -ambassadors channel got merged.
