So today we can say that blind people can not install SuSE 8 without sighted assistance ?
Installing SuSE 8.0 was really a hard job, but SuSE 8.1 works better. We hope, that SuSE 8.2 will be even more better. But people who had installed a SuSE-distro before, should be able to install the 8.0 also. Its a little bit tricky, but it works.
Are the Yast2 people working to resolve this colors problem which prevent to implement correctly a SuSE-BLinux profile for Yast2 ?
We are in contact with the YaST2 developers and will get the betas of new distros much earlier than before, so teh chances for setup a good profile for the installationroutine are much bigger than in the past. But it will be hard to get every screen of YaST2 working fine, the layout of YaST2 is sometime a little to heavy for sbl :-(. We try our best ;-).
