sles9 and autoyast boot disks
does anyone have any step through procedures on creating a boot disk & info file on a floppy in order to perform an autoyast installation via an nfs server (install=nfs://<server>/sles9 autoyast=nfs://<server>/sles9/profiles/<profile>)? i have not found this info in the autoyast.pdf or the html docs. i have a need to perform repetitive manufacturing of a standard config. any info would be of value. bh
Hi, You cant boot with one floppy. This is history. You need at least 2-3 floppies and creating them is not such an easy thing, especially if you need to install different types of hardware. You either have to use a CD or boot over the network using a Grub floppy (you have to provider kernel/initrd via tftp). Anas Brad Hudson wrote:
