I don't know if this is the right place... ..but anyway it's about YaST(2) I have a backup on 2 CDs and now I want to restore some files... (whit YaST/SuSE8.1, I made the backup whit YaST/SuSE8.1 -I copy the backups to my hard driver, ”backup1” ”backup2” -I select ”Restore System” -I select ”Backup1” and after I select ”Backup2” (multi volume) -YaST asks me if I want to install packages(?) (programs) that were installed when I made the backup, I select no. -YaST asks me which archive I want to restore, I select the archive ”NOPACKAGES” -I select which files I want to restore (I don't want to restore the whole archive) -I select the files: x /home x /home/user1 x /home/user1/Documents x /home/user1/Documents/text1.txt x /home/user1/Documents/text2.txt x /home/user1/Documents/text3.txt -”Restoring files that doesn't belongs to any packages” ...10% ...33% ...78% ...99% ...100% -Summary: (BLANK) -Then I click on the last button. And YaST exist. -BUT when I browse to /home the file(s) isn't there! I didn't got any errors... Q: How can I restore my Documents?
