more complex rules.xml examples?
I apparently need to use rules.xml to accomplish some of the gnarlier things I'd like to do with the autoinstaller. Unfortunately, the examples in the autoyast.pdf I have are pretty simple. Does anybody have pointers to more complex examples? (Like, ones that use multiple rule matches, config file merging, etc. etc.) thanks, john. -- "A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it." - physicist Max Planck
I found the following support note extremely usefull to know what match strings should be. http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/search/searchtid.cgi?10097518.htm basically use the rules.xml file in the note, and when the autoyast install stops, Alt-F2 on the console and scp teh y2log file or run: less /var/log/YaST2/y2log I have not used the advanced merging yet.
