Hello, I'm trying to instal SuSe 8.0 on a pentium75 with 40 Mb Ram. During the installation I get the message that a swap partition is needed and that I should give the location. Now the question(s): How can I create a swap partition so I can use it during the ftp installation ? And/or do I need to modify the installation disks ? All help is appreciated. Thanks and best regards, Robby Timmermans

You do not need to modify any installation disks [I don't know what you mean here] - but just, create a 128 M swap partition on the master HDD which is going to contain the Linux OS.
