What ever I try I can't get the sound level to be anything other than 0, and people have to run 'yast2 sound' to manually configure after installation. What's wrong? <sound> <autoinstall config:type="boolean">true</autoinstall> <modules_conf config:type="list"> <module_conf> <alias>snd-card-0</alias> <module>snd-intel8x0</module> <model>VT32C686</model> <options> <snd_ac97_clock>0</snd_ac97_clock> <snd_enable>1</snd_enable> <snd_index>0</snd_index> </options> <unique_key>uniq.virtual</unique_key> </module_conf> </modules_conf> <rc_vars/> <volume_settings config:type="list"> <volume_entry> <Master config:type="integer">75</Master> </volume_entry> </volume_settings> </sound> -Nigel -- Nigel Horne. An alternative would be to write a postinstall script - that'd also help for systems with a different sound card - but I can't figure out where YasT2 keeps it's sound configuration files or see it any documentation. Does anyone know? -Nigel -- Nigel Horne. Arranger, Composer, Typesetter. NJH Music, Barnsley, UK. ICQ#20252325 njh@despammed.com http://www.bandsman.co.uk
