[opensuse-autoinstall] Q: find out active path on SAN for partitioning with autoyast
Hi list, I'm trying to autoinstall SLES10-SP1 on SAN. Multiple pathes and storage processors presents multiple devicenames to the same physical device to autoyast whether they are active or passive. Due to the behavior of HBA switches and Storage Processors /dev/sda is sometimes passiv (that means I can't use it for installation) sometimes active. How do I come arround this with autoyast? How should the partitioning section look like. Do I have to create preinstallation scripts to find out the right pathes? any help is appreciated Thanks, Jochen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+help@opensuse.org

either pre-script or simply try to not specify a <device> at all. -- ciao, Uwe Gansert Uwe Gansert, Server Technologies Team SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Business: http://www.suse.de/~ug now playing mind.in.a.box - Lost Alone -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+help@opensuse.org
