Hi, what do I need to do to update the network drivers used during installation? I have a working autoyast environment for SLES9-SP3, but the hardware I install on is not supported by SLES9-SP3 unless I add the latest broadcom driver. I need to modify the boot CD, pxe-image and the driverupdate in the installsource. Are there any HowTo on this subject? Regards Daniel
I understand you want to boot a system with a network driver not supported by the initial network boot system, right? IIRC, you could create a new initrd using mkinitrd. The easiest way to do this is to install a target system manually (once), create the new initrd file there, and work with that. Read the man pages to mkinitrd and initrd. hth stefan suselist@nlsn.nu wrote:
