Hi All, I tested extensively the patch for keeping partitions. To apply the patch I used the method that modifies the cramfs image in the installation repository (script to do so is provided by Anas Nashif, http://www.suse.de/~nashif/autoinstall/y2update/). After this, keeping partitions works fine as described in the documentation.
