Hi, At the start of the installation autoyast pauses with the following error: "The partitioning on your disk /dev/hdc is not readable by the partitioning tool 'parted' that YaST2 uses to change the partition table". But this is not correct, because parted *CAN* read the partition table. This disk is a set of 2 disks with a LVM partition. I want YaST2 to leave this disk alone. I did some research by myself and I can see in the logfile (/var/log/YaST2/y2log) that the module StorageDevices indeed returns a 'false'. In the next fragment of the logfile first there is the detection of the disk on /dev/hdb, and then of /dev/hdc. 2003-10-16 19:31:03 <1> linux(543) [YCP] modules/StorageDevices.ycp(CheckPartedValid):861 disk /dev/hdb ret:true 2003-10-16 19:31:03 <1> linux(543) [YCP] modules/StorageDevices.ycp(CheckPartedValid):861 disk /dev/hdc ret:false Anyone an idea why this 'CheckPartedValid' returns false? Is it possible to disable this 'scan' of disks?
