I've being trying to identify a solution to an autoinstall problem for several weeks now without success and would appreciate some assistance. I'm trying to install sles10 from media located on a hard-drive partition, which was copied from the installation DVD. The problem does not occur when installing from the DVD using the same autoinst.xml file. I get the following error message after the volumes and boot partition has been formatted: Failure occurred during following action: Mount /dev/sda1 to /boot System error code was -3003 mount -t reiserfs /dev/sda1 /mnt/boot mount: /dev/sda1 already mounted or /mnt/boot busy

From spare console I see that nothing is mounted to /boot when the error occurs. However sda1 shows under /dev/evms so I suspect that sda1 is being used by EVMS in error. I tried applying the 'sles10_root_fix_v0.2' that I found on the Autoyast download area however this causes a different error.
