RE: [suse-autoinstall] Interactive "init" scripts
This was posted by someone else a few weeks ago. I don't know if it works: You could redirect the out or input to another concole. I did it with the command "chvt TERMINAL" (for example: chvt 11 <-- it is free during the installation) -----Original Message----- From: Ole Streicher [mailto:ole-suse-autoyast@gmx.net] Sent: Thursday, January 27, 2005 10:08 AM To: suse-autoinstall@suse.com Subject: [suse-autoinstall] Interactive "init" scripts Hi group, For my installation process, I need to run an interactive process after the installation. I tried to use the "<init-scripts>" element of the config file, but the script output goes into the log file and not to the screen. How can one force some output to the console at that time? The input is read from the console as it should. I use SuSE 9.2. You could redirect the out or input to another concole.
Redirection to /dev/console works fine for me. Thank you. Best regards Ole -- Sparen beginnt mit GMX DSL: http://www.gmx.net/de/go/dsl
