Hello, I would like to install GRUB instead of LILO using autoyast. If I use yast2 to create my xml file, I only have the possibility to install LILO. Does anyone have a xml file for GRUB? In SLES8 bootloader is determined automatically, depending on the partitioning, GRUB is the default. However there is a bug which made the installation default to LILO. This bug is resolved in SP3. Hello Anas Thank you for your answer. I'll upgrade to SP3 asap. Do I only have to upgrade the os of my Repository-Server itself or do I also have to copy them to my nfs exported installation directory? The problem is that I'm also using lvm. As you pointed out then there is no possibility to have grub instead of lilo? What about a post installation script?
