      Hi,

tanks for your help!!
now i understand the problem i little bit more. but i can see how the problem is 
to solve.

what i want is only to keep the partition 7. all other partition I don't care 
about - this mean, that partition 5 (swap) and 6 (/) can be use as they are - 
they must not create only format. The following Config-File was working on SuSE 
9.2, what goes wrong in SuSE 9.3 ?

seams like the parameter <mount> or  is not used.

nearly correct - only mount from partititon 7 to /data1 is missing. (this
not realy a problem)
okay, I just talked to our Storage expert and this partitioning is not 
possible. What we see above is simply broken but autoyast expects it to be 
like that. So the reality and what autoyast thinks are no longer in sync. :(

yes, that's what we expect, since there is no hda8
After deleting hda5 and hda6, the old hda7 is the new hda5 - we can't change 
that behaviour. Autoyast seems not to know that and just adds partitions at 
the end - that's a bug.

after aborted installation the partition are all destroyed!!!!
sorry, I hope you had a backup :)
well, at the moment it looks like it's not possible to do what you want to do 
(keep logical partition nr.7 but delete partition 5 and 6). It would have 
been possible to delete the logical partition at the end but not some in 
between.
I will do heavy changes in the partitioning code in the near future together 
with the storage expert here at SUSE.
