Is it possible to start an AutoYast installation from a diskless booted system?
Hi folks: For a number of reasons, I need to look into whether or not we can set up a system to boot into diskless mode, and while operating there, start the autoyast installation onto the hardware. Is this possible? Or does autoyast only work when you specify the autoyast=/path/to/xml/file on the boot command line? Thanks. I have successfully gotten a SuSE 9.3 Pro install working using PXE + syslinux + autoyast - is that the kind of thing you're talking about? Basically I can PXE boot, type "install" at the syslinux boot prompt and away it goes. Full install in about 5 minutes. Cheers, Ben
