Command-line options for "yast2 autoyast"
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm trying to automate the generation of profiles for new servers. I can't seem to find much documentation on if there are, or aren't any command line options I can use with `yast2 autoyast` that would help facilitate this process. Does anybody know if there are? On SLES10/SL10.1 there is a clone_system client in /usr/share/YaST2/clients which might help you a bit with that. -- ciao, Uwe Gansert Uwe Gansert, Server Technologies Team SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstrasse 5, D-90409 Nuernberg, Germany e-mail: uwe.gansert@suse.de, Tel: +49-(0)911-74053-0, Fax: +49-(0)911-74053-476, Web: http://www.suse.de
Hi, Just attemped to install Beta 11 using the XML from my previous beta installations. I'm receiving the following error: Warning: Could not set patterns/selections: apparmor,base,gnome,xen_server XML: <software> <patterns config:type="list"> <pattern>base</pattern> <pattern>xen_server</pattern> <pattern>apparmor</pattern> <pattern>gnome</pattern> </patterns> <remove-packages config:type="list"> <package>bootsplash</package> <package>bootsplash-theme-SuSE-SLES</package> </remove-packages> </software> Any ideas? Patterns were successfully copied to the installation source. Regards, Tim --- This e-mail may contain confidential and/or privileged information. that's working fine here

copied from where? You know, beta11 has sha1 sums from every pattern stored in the content file. You can't copy a pattern from somewhere or change a pattern to your needs. If you want to do that, read this: http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-autoinstall/2006-Apr/0052.html If you did not do that, I can not reproduce it and need logs for that. -- ciao, Uwe Gansert Uwe Gansert, Server Technologies Team SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstrasse 5, D-90409 Nuernberg, Germany e-mail: uwe.gansert@suse.de, Tel: +49-(0)911-74053-0, Fax: +49-(0)911-74053-476, Web: http://www.suse.de
