From the 8.1 update page yast2-network 2.6.34 "This update package fixes a problem in the automatic network interface card detection during auto-installation. If the control file contains no hardware specific information, yast2 will now fill up the missing data with information about existing hardware in the system."
So, what is meant by hardware specific info? And what would the network section look like when setup for autodetect? Thanks Ahmed

module data and module options in the interface section. just remove them and use this package to auto-detect NIC hardware. Anas
