Hi,
I've a test network setup to use PXE to boot/install SuSE 8.2. The machines are setup with multiple OS's which use DHCP for address allocation, everything boots normally. I followed the instructions given in the pxelinux.doc file for configuring dhcpd.conf and the autoyast setup docs. After which I was able to boot/install the machines, without problems. However, if I then boot back into windows or another OS on one of the machines, the DHCP settings are incorrect (missing default route, domain name). Removing the PXE entries from dhcpd.conf resolves this.
Does anyone have any ideas what might be the problem? Ideally I would like to be able to use the network boot option for install/emergency and run the OS's as normal without having to switch configs.
Thanks for your help.
Simon
