perl in init-scripts
Hi, I'm just moving my post-script to an init-script to I can call rug. However, it looks like it calls this script as a bash script, not a perl script, even though <interpreter>perl</interpreter> is in the script tags. Another bugzilla ? -- Simon Crute IS&T Bracknell Novell UK Ltd

that's a bug in the documentation. init-scripts don't support perl. -- ciao, Uwe Gansert Uwe Gansert, Server Technologies Team SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstrasse 5, D-90409 Nuernberg, Germany Business: http://www.suse.de/~ug

does your script actually contain the magical #! /usr/bin/perl as its first line?
Another bugzilla ?
