clone this server function in SLES9 SP1
Hi, I am trying to use the "Clone this server" function in SLES9 SP1 with a -147 kernel. Whenever I try to save the created XML file, I get the error "An error occured while saving the file" and no XML file is created. Is that a known problem, and how do I get around it? TIA! The Install Server function in SP1 is great, I set up an install server with SLES9 SP1 and SLES8 SP3 and 4 within half a day, a breeze. -- Quality Control, n.: The process of testing one out of every 1,000 units coming off a production line to make sure that at least one out of 100 works.

I'm not aware of such a problem. Is there anything useful in /var/log/YaST2/y2log after the error occurred? -- ciao, Uwe Gansert Uwe Gansert, Server Technologies Team SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstrasse 5, D-90409 Nürnberg, Germany e-mail: uwe.gansert@suse.de, Tel: +49-(0)911-74053-0, Fax: +49-(0)911-74053-476, Web: http://www.suse.de
