We managed to make the driver update accessible on the CD with the help of the following
Here we found everything we needed for creating the correct structure and giving the right
kernel-parameter to tell isolinux to access the driver update automatically.
But there is still one problem: After the kernel is loaded, we have to decide by a menu,
if the update resides on CD or floppy. After that the update is detected and built in. But
we want it fully automatic.
If anyone had some clues, we would be grateful!

We'd like to autoinstall a diskless server which
needs access to a scsi harddisk by using the FastTrack Driver module ft. Is it enough to
add the module into the initrd and tell the kernel to load this by using a kernel
parameter in the boot options in isolinux.cfg? That's what we'll try out today,
if it fails, I will report here.
Thanks for the reply,

What driver disk do you mean exactly?
