I added the line to my autoyast control file in the software/image section.
I saw you are moving/writing bootloader config files in your scripts too. I assume you know what you are doing :)
I hope so :) This script was the workaround for the problem. I removed that part for the test from now. Unfortunately the problem still exists. The machine (VMWare) says: ------- Booting from local disk Error no active partition Operating system not found ------- The config files for the grub setup /etc/grub.conf and /boot/grub/menu.lst are nearly empty: ------- cat /etc/grub.conf quit ------- cat /boot/grub/menu.lst # Modified by YaST2. you dont have bootloader configs and no /etc/fstab in your image right? if you have those, delete them. If it still does not work then, then I have to reproduce it here. I had no problems with that on openSUSE 11.1: http://ugansert.blogspot.com/2009/03/imagine-autoyast.html -- ciao, Uwe Gansert Uwe Gansert, Server Technologies Team SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Business: http://www.suse.de/~ug -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+help@opensuse.org

There is only the /etc/fstab file in the images witch will be replaced during restore of the image, like in your example script for openSUSE 11.1.

Yes, still the same problem. I read most of your blog articles :) My own setup works perfect in openSUSE 11.1, but we need 11.0 for some driver issues...
