I want to use some of the "Configuration" steps provided by an interactive install, with my automated install. Like let a user create their account, set the hostname, set the time zone, set the keyboard, and walk through the hardware configuration section but skip things like the root password, firewall, online update, network test etc. Is there a way to configure this? Yes, there is. You have to modify the /etc/YaST2/firstboot.xml file which defines the workflow for the firstboot run of YaST. -- Regards, Jiri Srain YaST Team Leader --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s.r.o. e-mail: jsrain@suse.cz Lihovarska 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 959 190 00 Praha 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz
