[opensuse-autoinstall] Where is initrd and linux kernel for 64 bit PXE
------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hi all! For PXE installation for 32 bit, you get the initrd and the kernel (linux) from *boot/i386/loader/initrd* and *boot/i386/loader/linux*. Then you copy those file to the root of the tftp server and you specify in the default file: kernel linux and initrd=initrd. If you use more than 1 menu labels then it is best to rename those files to linux-sles10sp1-i32 and initrd-sles10sp1-i32. I have problem to specify the initrd and the kernel for 64 bits. I cannot find those file anywhere on the 64 bits DVD. *Where are those files situated?* or what else do I have to do? Thank you for your kind advice: Michel-André -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+help@opensuse.org

At boot/x86_64/loader/{linux,initrd}. If you don't have a boot/x86_64/ directory, you don't have the 64bit DVD... -- Dipl.-Inform. Frank Steiner Web: http://www.bio.ifi.lmu.de/~steiner/ Lehrstuhl f.
