Not having a bootnet.img like floppy image forces us to use a CDrom image containing the necessary kernel and initrd etc. But, I would like to be able to install many clients through network, so I would like to use a PXE server to serve the initrd and the kernel if possible. The problem is that I am forced to use a PXE server on Windows ;( Does anybody have any suggestion as to how I can configure on this server? Yes, there is a DHCP service running there, as well. I am not familier with PXE servers on Windows! What are you using exactly? I dont think it should make a difference at all, all you need to do is make the kernel and the initrd from boot/loader on the first CD on the server and make the DHCP server send the boot loader, pxelinux.0 to the client, but thats a guess only, i am not sure how things with PXE work on windows Anas
Thank you in advance, Lauren
