[opensuse-autoinstall] Leap 42.3 and rules
Hi all, I use a rules file with several custom rules to install Leap 42.3 The rules worked fine in Leap 42.2. But in Leap 42.3... o I noticed that the result of the first rule is always ignored and therefore it is not merged. My workaroud to this I have to write a dummy rule at first place. o All my dialogboxes pop up a second time. This is annoying. How can I prevent this behaviour? Any idea what goes wrong here? Are these known bugs? Any solutions? What has changed since Leap 42.2? Regards Werner

I don’t currently use rules, and I only see my <ask> dialogs once, but I do see the choices for a <selection> listed twice within the dialog. This is a new issue with 42.3, and I just filed bsc#1054116 for it. While researching my bug report, I discovered that /var/adm/autoinstall/cache/installedSystem.xml lists all my choices twice (they are of course only present once in my autoyast profile), and it also duplicates a wait script I have under <general><wait><pre-modules>. Perhaps these two duplications and your duplicate dialogs have the same underlying cause? Andrew Daugherity Senior Systems Administrator Division of Research, Texas A&M University
