[opensuse-autoinstall] Screen woes on install
Hi Using SuSE 10.0, I've experienced problems in startup where my monitor reported "Input Not Supported" at boot time, but the system loaded and then displayed fine. I'm attempting to update to 10.2, from a DVD, and after choosing "Install" I'm getting the same monitor problem for probably 15 mins so far. (Pressing Esc does not help.) There seems to be some slight intermittent HD activity, tho. How long should I wait for this to finish? What might I best do - apart from getting a new monitor? ;) TIA Alec Ross -- Alec Ross -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+help@opensuse.org

ATI graphics card? Could be the interlace mode problem then. Go for a lower resolution (or use an older monitor :-)). Steffen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-autoinstall+help@opensuse.org
