Hi, I'm trying to set up an automated installation environment for SuSE Linux 7.3. I want the clients to get their network parameters from a DHCP server, but I'm having a problem: all the clients send 00:00:00:00:00:00 as their hardware address in the BOOTP query, so the DHCP server can't assign them fixed IP addresses depending on that. ¿Can anyone help? Do you have the latest bootdisk image? The original ones shipped with SuSE 7.3 don't work! DHCP/BOOTP support is broken - I guess that's your problem. Get the latest bootdisk image from your favourite SuSE mirror and rebuild your setup - that should be all.
