How to install all packages before reboot
hi list, We are testing autoyast on sles10 now. We find that sles10 autoyast would install some packages after first rebooting. But we find that we need to install all packages before first reboot now. Is this preformable? What should we do ? Thanks!

do you mean the packages on CD2-CD5? Install from DVD if you don't want the reboot or create your installation server in a way, that there are no CD2-CD5 directorys. If you mean the packages that autoyast might pull after the reboot, try to add them to the <packages config:type="list"> in your profile so they are already installed when autoyast detects that they are needed. -- ciao, Uwe Gansert Uwe Gansert, Server Technologies Team SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstrasse 5, D-90409 Nuernberg, Germany e-mail: uwe.gansert@suse.de Fax: +49-(0)911-74053-476, Web: http://www.suse.de/~ug
