I would like to install Suse 8.1 . In Yast I got the following message: SOFTWARE No base selection available ERROR: No proposal Therefore I started the installation once again and after a new start of yast, I changed with STRG + ALT + F2 to the Boot-Prompt. In this window I put in the following commands cdromdevice=hdc and pci=acpi in. After that I switched back to yast, unfortunately without the expected success -> under Software the same result as described on the top.
