[opensuse-autoinstall] Problems with "users"
hi, i have some problems with "user" part, even if configured, and looks to be ok, yast always complain about "no user defined" "no root password defined" ideas? conf file is attached thanks for help Andrea

Ciao Andrea, you're probably missing the relevant entries. Easiest to set the root password is to use the yast-Autoinstall tool (in miscellaneous) and go to security/users to set the root password. Cheers, Peter.

Autoinstall of compiz-branding-openSUSE-0.7.8-46.1 failed with error message "/bin/ln not found". OpenSuse 11.1 with http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/XGL/openSUSE_11.1 repository. I can install with zypper afterwards without problems. make autoyast stop in the confirmation screen via y2confirm or <confirm ...>true</confirm> and see if the resolver throws an error when you click on the software section. yes exactly, when you have a standard installation
You can ignore that. The user settings are configured in stage2 in an autoinstallation
