[opensuse-autoinstall] Update System from 10 .0 to 11.0 Problems
Hallo, If to update an 10.0 Server to 11.0. Mit idea is to use autoyast to transfer all config-files etc. My problems: I wrote a full autoyast-file. - The partitioning doens t work. A message appears that parted can t acces the disk. Using the example from the webside and make a full automatic partitionig works. - The conf-files from ldap, dns and dhcp are not written allthough the informations are stored in the xml-file. sometimes that message is a false alert and can be ignored. It should timeout anyway during your installation. So if the partitioning is correct in the end, you can ignore that.
- The conf-files from ldap, dns and dhcp are not written allthough the informations are stored in the xml-file.
make sure you have yast-ldap-client (or server), yast2-dns-server and yast2- dhcp-server installed. The partioning isn t correct. It seems as if the extended Part of the disc isn t configured. dev /sda1 boot dev /sda2 swap dev /sda5 extended dev /sda6 home dev /sda7 var dev /sda8 data I had to change the xml file from hda to sda but I m sure that every entry is changed.
