[opensuse-autoinstall] scriptlet failed errors.
Hello, Thx for your help about my grub problem :) The autoinstallation works for ~2 weeks fine and today I rebuild without any changes the dvd and now I got for every package an installation error: ... scriptled failed ... error code 255 I'm sure the .rpms are correct since they are not altered from the original openSUSE DVD... (And it worked the days before without any error... except the bootlader issue ;-) So do you have any hints where to search for a solution? I googled a bit about this error message and it seems that this is something about the postinst scripts... but a clear error description with a hint howto fix i didn't find. Even an complete new rebuild from scratch doesn help to get rid of this error :S My guess is that I have maybe by accident altered the autoinst.xml (because this was the only file I moved into the from scratch created iso... You can change to another console and take a look at the log files at /var/log/YasST2/ especially y2logRPM and y2log. Maybe there is a hint, what the scripts are missing. I suspect a dependency is missing, therefor the installation order has changed and a required executable is missing. Unfulfilled dependencies confuse the installation order, so you may look for "no installable provider" in y2log. Sometimes yast strumbles over the signature stuff, so you can search for it in the logs, too.

If you have an existing installation of the old working DVD, you can see the profile at /var/adm/autoinstall/cache/installedSystem.xml. So you can compare them. To check the consistency of an installation repository, I do an normal installation, without profile and select the software patterns manually. In this case the error messages are more verbose and you can test missing dependencies step by step, by saying the yast2-gui to ignore them.
